SANDTON CPF AGM 2019

The Sandton CPF is holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday 29 May 2019 at the 19th Hole, Johannesburg Country Club Woodmead, starting at 18h00 sharp. The agenda will include a Welcome and Opening Address by Sandton CPF Chairman Anthony Modena, followed by the Chairman's Report, Financial Report; Sandton SAPS Station Commander's Report and a general Q&A session.  All residents and business are welcome and encouraged to attend. Community policing focuses on the partnership between all stakeholders, and cannot succeed without strong community  involvement. SANDTON CPF NELSON MANDELA DAY 2019

Time: 08h00 - 16h00 (choose your time)
Venue: Sandton SAPS, Summit Road, Sandton

The Sandton CPF is arranging a clean-up, fix and repair day at the Sandton Police Station, from 8am to 5pm on Thursday 18 July 2019. Come and do your 67 minutes for our men and women in blue and for our Sandton community. We are looking for volunteers to help us give the Station a mini revamp, as well as to donate items for the day or that the Station requires going forward. SANDTON CPF FUNDRAISER GOLF DAY 2019

The Sandton CPF warmly invites you to take part in our annual Golf Day. This takes place on Wednesday 24 July 2019 at the Bryanston Golf Course at the Bryanston Country Club. A four-ball entry is R3 300 and there are many great prizes to be won. There are also some fantastic sponsorship opportunities available. Funds raised will be used towards setting up a Joint Command Centre in Sandton, as well as various other community security initiatives. SANDTON CPF FUNDRAISER MUSIC EVENING 2019

The Sandton CPF is once again hosting a fabulous Music Evening at the Barnyard in Rivonia. Get ready to be electrified by Cirque Rock, a visual experience that combines high energy and dramatic dance routines, with music from Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Rhianna, Queen, Maroon 5, Cold Play, Tom Jones and many more. The show features signature acts of pole, silk, acrobatics and trapeze. Tickets cost R200 per person and meals may be ordered in advance from the Barnyard on 087 236 3088. SANDTON CPF / SAPS OPEN MEETING 2019

Sandton residents and businesses are invited to attend a Public Community Meeting to be hosted by the Sandton CPF and the South African Police Services at the Johannesburg Country Club, Woodmead. The main topic on the agenda will be the recently released Annual Crime Statistics for the 2018/2019 reporting year. The reporting period runs from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019. The presentation from SAPS will include absolute crime numbers, crime rates and crime trends. Sandton CPF Chairperson Anthony Modena will open proceedings, which will begin at 18h00 sharp.


SANDTON SAPS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARENESS WORKSHOP 2019

Venue: Redhill School, 20 Summit Road, Morningside

The Sandton SAPS, in partnership with the Sandton CPF, invites you to attend a domestic violence awareness campaign, which will take place on Friday 6 December 2019 at Redhill School, as part of the national '16 days of activism to stop violence against women and children' campaign'. The campaign is led by Sergeant Cynthia Segoa, Sandton SAPS Social Crime Prevention Coordinator. Sandton Victim Empowerment counsellors will also be represented at this information session, as well as the Sandton CPF. The campaign aims to educate attendees about domestic violence, what you can do if you are in a domestic violence situation or if you think domestic violence is taking place. All welcome, no entrance fee.
